How to Access the Akashic Records

Everyone has access to their record in which their soul has played a part in. You can also access the records from any group that you have participated in. All of the records are watched over by a spiritual librarian called guides, the keepers or Guardians. These records are accessed through intuition, prayer and meditation. In many cases when people intentionally open their intuition they have a new inner guidance that helps with accessing these records. I wondered why everyone didn’t live by these rules and why someone did not publish these rules sooner. After working with these rules I found how tremendously hard they actually were to implement. Some were harder than others and depending on who you are different rules will be harder to use.

I have never considered myself to be a liar, other than the little white lies that are told in hopes of sparing someone’s feelings. You will find that certain parts are so integrated into your life that they are difficult to stop.

The Four Agreements are:

 Be Impeccable with your Word: Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the Word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your Word in the direction of truth and love.

So many of us easily put ourselves down or others down. It is commonplace to criticize others whether it is “that person is a jerk” or a random comment on someone’s looks. It is nearly impossible to talk with a family member about the everyday events without gossiping or criticizing someone. We all have our opinions and we do not hesitate to voice them. If we pay attention to our words it is possible over time to correct this behavior.

Don’t Take Anything Personally

Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

It is so easy to take offense when talking to people. Since most people are not practicing being impeccable with their word as in the first agreement they are usually offering their opinion about you or someone else. If someone is having a bad day and you encounter them in your day they will undoubtedly say something to upset you. If you realize that it is their reality and not yours takes it personally

Don’t Make Assumptions

Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

This is possibly the hardest of the four agreements to enact. When you actively try to stop assuming you will see that a large part of your day is spent assuming. You assume what others are thinking or how they will react to a particular situation. In many cases we give ourselves anxiety over assuming how a situation will play out. When we actually are involved with the situation we often find that all of the anxiety was for nothing. In many cases we find that things actually went very smoothly. Imagine how much better we would feel is we were to stop assuming. Just taking events as they come and stop playing out the scenarios ahead of time. The worst part of this is that we seem to play out the worst situations the most.

Always Do Your Best

Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret?

Your best and my best are going to be different in any given situation. If you make every effort in any given situation to do your best then you can always feel good about it. After all you cannot expect to do better than your best.

These four agreements offer a simple way to make your life better. They do however take some effort to actually enact them. It will take being conscious of them in your day to day living to make the changes necessary. You will find that your life will go smoother by continuing to use these agreements on a day to day basis.

Along with the left and right sides of your brain, with their well-defined yet overlapping functions, it’s postulated that a third, more spiritual, brain exists.

Reflecting on the nature of reality can lead to a mighty headache if you don’t know when to stop, but it’s definitely worthwhile to consider what’s real and what you share as you. It could lead you to greater understanding and tolerance of others’ points of view.

Spiritual Reality

As of particles in quantum physics whose form is determined by the observer, you create your reality through your thoughts. The shape your attitudes and perceptions, which affect the way you view yourself and the perceptions that other people form of you. If you view yourself as positive and successful, you create that thought. You previously viewed yourself as Shy and retiring, you might have to work a little bit to break that old pattern of perception. Sometimes your perceptions are different from others. You might be surprised to hear 20 people will see you differently, as each may have a different slant, depending on his or her relationship with you, but this attitude should not affect your own self identity.

See yourself from the whole perspective. Spiritual reality, like some of the realms of quantum physics, is a realm of potentiality, where all possibilities are present in the same moment. Your focus determines what will arise in any situation. When you meditate or practice a form of spiritual discipline, you access the wellspring of life where your ability to develop potential can be trapped more fully. The ultimate spiritual perception is that of unification, where you recognize and know without doubt that all things spring from one source and that you are part of that source. Just as everything contains the stuff of stars, we are each unique and yet part of this whole.

What is reality?

Reality is what you perceive to be the absolute truth in your life – that is, the unchanging, solid basis for all that you see, feel and believe. If you were to receive a major shock that rocks your world (such as discovering as an adult that you were adopted by those whom you had always considered to be your birth parents), your reality would shift and change and you would have to learn how to adapt to a new reality. There are many dramatic events that can create a change in your apparent reality, and there are also illuminating situations in which you have perceptions that enable you to break out of the structure of everyday thought and see life in a very different way.

Acceptance in anchoring your world, what you think of as real may just be an illusion that is fabricated by your mind, or by a prevailing consensus, or by attitudes and thought patterns that derive from life experiences. Everyone agrees on the name of colors, for instance yet some of you might see colors differently than others and still use the same names for them. You shift internal gears to accommodate a given reality – for example, the words on this page look up right, yet the image received at the back of your eye is upside down. In the middle Ages the reality dictated that the sun revolved around the earth, but today the opposite is irrefutably true.

Physics and Reality

The realms of quantum physics are unpredictable, and as the minute basic components of matter behave in unexpected ways you learn more about the nature of physical reality. An example of the peculiar nature of quantum physics is Schrödinger’s cat. In this thought experiment, a cactus put in a sealed room that contains a vial of poison, the file is set to break and poison the cat when an unpredictable quantum event occurs. As there is no way of knowing whether this event has happened, the cat is considered to be both alive and dead simultaneously. Only when the room is open is the reality of the cat’s life or death become fixed. The quantum system is rife with examples of reality acting strangely, and the behavior of light is another classic example. When physicists began conducting experiments to test if light was a particle they found a positive result, but when they performed experiments to see if light was a wave, they also received positive results. It seemed that whatever the scientists tested for they found, it was if their intentions that influenced the results. The problem was resolved by quantum mechanics, which takes into account the unpredictability of reality, Uncertainty.

Reality and perception

Your reality is shaped by your perception of experiences. Perception is what you are currently aware of; your perception can change from moment to moment, depending on your state of mind. You can understand this as subjective and objective reality. Subjective reality is what you see, feel and experience according to what is happening in your life here and now. Your perceptions of reality will inevitably change as a result of your emotions shifting according to your experiences and circumstances and your body altering through hormonal fluctuations that affect your mood. If you are having a rough day and you drop a carton of milk and skillet over the floor, it might be the final straw that leads you to break down in tears. If the same event occurs when you are feeling happy and strong, you would clean up the milk without being particularly upset. The spilled milk is the objective reality – you know without any doubt that it happened. Your reaction is your subjective reality how you were feeling in that moment.

Are you sure you’re objective?

Objective reality is the common consensus of what is undoubtedly, inarguably real. Everyone has the same experience or view. Objective reality tells us that humans cannot fly.  Yet some yogis can levitate and hover above the ground, so even this can be disproved. Objective reality tells us that we cannot walk through walls, and that the world is round. Objectivity should have no doubt.

Energy centers of the body

Crown Chakra

Controls the higher function of intelligence. Blockages can affect logical reasoning.

Third Eye chakra

Sees beyond the psychic realm and governance your psychic abilities and awareness. Blockages can result in feeling unsettled in life.

Throat chakra

Controls how we express ourselves verbally and nonverbally. Blockages can result in bossiness or being overbearing.

Invisible healing energy

All forms of spiritual healing work for me, believe in a life force or universal energy that is found in all living things, and even affects inanimate objects such as crystals and rocks. The invisible healing power is commonly known as Chi – the term used in traditional Chinese healing, and is considered to be an intangible flow of energy that runs through the body, nourishing and healing it. Health can be affected by a blockage in the flow of Chi, so many healing practices from Crystal healing to Reiki and shiatsu, focus on restoring balance to the energy flow.

This energy is invisible to the naked eye, although some people believe that the aura, given off by your life force can be photographed using a method known as Kirlian photography. These images show the electrical energy that emanates from physical matter.

There are various methods of spiritual healing, most of which are fully compatible with one another. Many of these healing methods are explored.

 

The power of your mind

The power of the mind to heal the body is often underestimated in Western medicine, but it is central to many of the ancient spiritual healing practices. It has been widely noted that the desire to get better plays a role in how quickly someone recovers from illness or injury.

The power of belief. In the case of spiritual healing practices, understanding how a therapy works is not as important as believing in the ability to heal. It is our faith in a healer’s ability to rechannel energies or select an appropriate Crystal that ensures our well-being. Belief in a higher power, be it the Christian God, nature, magic, or a healer’s hands, is the key to ensuring that therapies can work.

Vibrational therapies and visualization

Vibrational therapies are based on the idea that everything is surrounded by an electromagnetic energy field that resonates at its own frequency. When the body is in good health, this frequency remains fairly constant, but it can be disrupted by ill health.

Crystal healing is one of the best-known vibration therapies.

Therapies such as color therapy, crystal healing and sound therapy aim to rebalance or absorb negative vibrations and restore happiness and health to our bodies; it’s a rebalancing of energy.

Additionally, visualization and meditation can play a role in some Vibrational therapies. For example it is thought that visualizing yourself bathed in a particular color has the same effect on your mood as looking at that color.

Color therapy utilizes our emotional response to specific light waves in the visible spectrum. The type of healing that occurs depends on the color used.

Channeling energy

Once you have opened your mind to the concept of a universal healing energy, you can start learning to channel it. Channeling energy is performed to draw vitality from the world around you into your own body, or into someone else’s to aid healing and boosts general well-being.

Energy therapies practice as diverse as Crystal healing, Reiki and spell casting use tools, even if it is simply the reiki healer’s hands, to focus and harness the flow of energy. The energy centers known as the chakras are often the focus of such channeling’s and can be stimulated by various means.

The laying on of hands

All of us appreciate that a loving hug can lift the spirits. We also know that gently massaging sore muscle or rubbing a bruise can make us feel better. Healing hands, some therapies take this idea a step further, believing that certain people are born with special abilities enabling them to heal through the power of touch by, laying hands on to the sick person.

Some healers believe they have an innate power within themselves, while others believe they work on behalf of a higher being, such as the Christian God. A hands-on healer uses their hands to channel or redirect healing energy; therefore they use their hands as a tool for well-being.

The Sides of the brain

There are two distinct sides of the brain. The left side which governs logical thought processes and is used when you need linear thinking such as in mathematics, some forms of music and the sciences. The right side of the brain governs spatial awareness and lateral thought processes and is used for creative and abstract thought, visual expression, intuition and flashes of inspiration.

Crucial Interdependency

There are meeting points at which you use both sides of the brain, such as music that is felt initially with the right side then ordered and written in a musical score using the left side. Interestingly, the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body while the right side of the brain is links to the left side of the body. This means that any damage that is sustained to the left side of the brain might affect the motor skills on the right side of the body. Recently a third side of the brain has been hypothesized, one that is connected with the spiritual self.

Brain Rhythms

The brain operates through four main frequencies, or brain states, and each of these is predominant at particular times and through varying activities. Understanding what creates these rhythms and being aware of which brain rhythm is prominent when you are concentrating, sleeping, relaxing or meditating can empower you to use your mind in a more constructive manner and utilize the states to their full effect. There are specific programs that are designed to stimulate particular frequencies in the brain; these come in the form of rhythmic music or a combination of sound and visual effects that help your brain to slip into and temporarily stay in a particular frequency.

Meditative Theta State

4.5 beats or cycles per second for example, which can be obtained through rhythmic drumming or chanting, puts your brain in a theta state that enables you to meditate deeply. The steady drone of Tibetan chants is a powerful way to accomplish this.

The Meditative state

You experience the theta state in those moments when you are drifting off to sleep, when images rise, apparently from nowhere, because your brain is resting on the border of your subconscious mind. The theta rhythm is used to increase learning capacity, for dream recall and self hypnosis, and, of course, for meditation.

The Central Brain

Along with the left and right side of your brain, with their well-defined yet overlapping functions, it is postulated that a third, more spiritual brain exists.

When you are fully present in the moment fully conscious you are functioning from a middle ground between the two distinct islands of the brain. When you are aware of yourself, this awareness appears to come from a place in the very center of yourself. You perceive thought, vision, insight, understanding and self-awareness from the central point that radiates out to and encompasses all areas of the brain.

The Third Part of the Brain

This has led to a theory that a third brain exists: the central or middle brain that synthesizes spiritual experience and makes you aware of yourself as a spiritual being that has a body, emotions and mind, rather than the previous, reductionist view that you are a body and mind that has spiritual experiences. If there is a physical seat of consciousness, it would exist in this middle area of the brain.

As consciousness can also be viewed as a canvas, with experience being portrayed as the painting that takes shape upon it, it exists within and also without, being influenced and shaped by the events occurring around you that are beyond your control.

Achieving enlightenment the ultimate goal is spiritual enlightenment, of course. With the attainment of a spiritual state of wholeness, liberation, enlightenment, nirvana or whichever word you feel most comfortable with, a balance is achieved within all aspects of the self, including the brain.

There are four distinct brain wave frequencies:

Alpha Brain waves

It occurs through a state of deep relaxation and aids visualization, creativity and self-healing.

Beta Brain Waves

The beta rhythm occurs when you are wide awake, alert and concentrating.

Delta Brain Waves

The subconscious mind resonates to the Delta rhythm, so intuitions and deep memories can emerge through dreaming states.

The Four Brain States

Alpha Brain Waves

The alpha rhythm was the first brainwave frequency to be discovered. It occurs through a state of deep relaxation and aids visualization, creativity and self-healing. Healers move into an alpha rhythm when they are engaged in healing others. The alpha waves are gentle, in the range of 7-12 Hz, and promote a state of deep relaxation that is useful as a prelude to meditation.

During the alpha state, your awareness expands, your fears dissolve and you begin to feel comfortable and at peace in a state of relaxation and contentment. The state of happiness. The Shuman resonance, the resonant frequency of the Earth’s magnetic field, flows at the same frequency as alpha rhythms.

Theta Brain Waves

The theta frequency rests below that of the alpha rhythm, at 4-7 Hz. this is the predominant realm during deep relaxation; brain activity is not quite slow enough for sleep. In this stage there are heightened preconceptions and receptivity, flashes of inspiration and often emergence of long forgotten memories. Physical effects include a sensation of floating and expansion.

Beta Brain Waves

The beta rhythm occurs when you are wide awake, alert and concentrating. Your mind is sharply focused, you can make connections between different ideas and thought processes and you are able to train your attention like a laser on the object of your focus.

During beta state, neurons fire rapidly so your mind works very quickly, shifting through ideas and dismissing or pursuing them. Total awareness. When you take an exam or an engaged in intense thinking, your beta rhythm is predominant. It governs analytical cognitive processes and coordination and heightened sensations of being fully awake or aware. If you are confused or under stress, you will have access beta waves in evidence. Beta waves are in the 13 – 40 Hz range.

Delta Brain Waves

The Delta rhythm, at 0-4 Hz, is elongated and slow and is activated during deep sleep. The human growth hormone (HGH), essential for healing and all forms of bodily regeneration, is facilitated by frequencies with the Delta rhythm.

Dreaming Brain Waves

The subconscious mind resonates to the Delta rhythm, so intuitions and deep memories can emerge through dreaming states. This will enable you to tap into the potent healing and creative powers of your unconscious mind and to allow normally trap information to emerge, which can allow a clearing process for the past.
